Your ceremony is about you. Whilst I love story telling and I know how to put it over with your crowd – There is no thunder stealing, limelight hogging or jazz hands here…unless you want me to! Capable of flaunting the fabulous or oozing with classic intimacy. This will be your day, done your way. I’m Jenny Worrall and this is a little more about me.

However I always think its nice (admittedly not my favourite word but appropriate here ) to know just a little about the person you are putting so much trust and faith in, and whether you might just get along…..

I have been married to my husband Carl for 10 years, together for 20. We were childhood sweethearts and he still rocks my world. Carl and I both have the same birthday and we are the exact same age – I tell this fact to pretty much everyone I meet. We have three brilliant kids all with their own particular brand of crazy and cute. Currently Seb loves to rap, Cammie keeps sniffing things, and Jude eats flies thinking they are sultanas.

I studied with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants in 2011 after attending a relatives very ill prepared funeral, and similarly a wedding that defied every expectation. Encouraged with FPB support, I felt compelled to create spellbinding ceremonies that left beautiful memories. The reception I received from clients was incredible and each and every person and story I have worked with, without sounding too cheesy – I remember. I have done this ever since.

Prior to becoming all responsible (!) I worked for 8 years in theatre and TV as an actor and feel comfortable in front of a crowd. I was contacted by BBC3’s Don’t Tell the Bride to feature as a celebrant. The episode focused on the groom creating a Hollywood themed “Night at the Oscars” for his bride to be. Nerve-racking stuff, especially for the Groom, and a surprise for me as their wedding day was the first time I got to meet the bride! It went brilliantly – once she scolded him for his questionable dress choice!

Essentially – Jenny Worrall loves a story and I love to story tell. Thats why I love being a celebrant. Thats why I loved being an actor.
